How pleasant it is sometimes to find out that you know absolutely nothing about a person – while you thought that you knew what to expect for and that he/she would never surprise you again... The more pleasant it is when the person not just radically changes, but in the direction that seems right to you as well. That is just how the leader of the group "Yurcash", Yurko Yurchenko? has changed and pleased us. He used to be young and trustful, sang sweet songs – now he does not like to remember about that. In the end, we have remembered about it here, I think, for the last time – and only in order to finally forget about it forever. Because the nowadays "Yurcash" is a phenomenon that has nothing in common with moderate pop-music, though the latter might be quite edible. If there is in the world such style as benevolent, smiling punk – it is exactly this case. At least, the ideological basis. Because a lot of elements are mixed in the music: clearly, punk, plus alternative, minimalism, ska, symphonic rock, blues, hardcore – and all this cuisine is lavishly seasoned with folk in virtually all possible displays. Plus – there are things that it is just impossible to define. The mixture is superb, rich and delicious. Special attention should be paid to the lyrics – in my opinion, great examples of real, clever retort. That is, there is something to laugh at, and something to reflect on – here as well "Yurcash" has at once come into notice, stood out among the rest. In short, a good start – the group has managed from the first attempt to place itself both aside (in relation to the mainstream), and in the center (and that is already about its being interesting). Really good.
